Background on the readings

For most private Tarot readings I use the Jean Noblet ‘Tarot de Marseille’ deck which was created c.1650.   This is a hand-stencilled limited edition of the earliest known original Tarot deck.  The deck was produced by M. J-C Flornoy in Paris and there are only a dozen such decks in the UK.  Monsieur Flornoy kindly gave me permission to use some of the images from the deck on this site.  When using the Noblet deck I only use the Majors and blend my own style of readings with the visual interpretation methods pioneered by my good friend Enrique Enriquez in New York.

For Corporate work I sometimes use the Liber T: ‘Tarot of the Stars Eternal’ deck.  The Liber T is very rich in symbolism and is based on a stylisation of Crowley’s Thoth deck.  There are several Thoth ‘clones’, but this is the best all-round deck I have found.  The Liber T has the advantage of removing the subscript descriptors from the Minors, which I find prescriptive, and instead enriches the original Crowley designs with Egyptian mythological symbols which can greatly aid the intuitive links for the cards.

Palmistry readings are based on the indications described by Count Louis Hamon (‘Cheiro’) and supplemented by the works of both Mir Bashir and Noel Jaquin and my own experience.

During the course of my researches I have also studied Chinese Numerology, the I Ching and also Geomantic Divination, which is possibly the oldest known form of divination in the world.
